Patient History:
53 year-old male with a history of left axillary malignant melanoma with recurrence to the right upper arm and abdomen. This patient is status-post chemotherapy.
Technique:
PET imaging was performed from the base of the brain to the level of the mid thigh.
Findings:
Multiple areas of abnormal FDG superficial nodal uptake including in the chest wall, back, left groin, and right arm.
Impression:
Wide-spread metastases including several superficial nodes.
