Lesion in right temporal lobe. Evaluate for brain tumor with P.E.T. imaging.

Study Findings

An area of abnormally decreased localization surrounded by markedly increased rim of activity in the right temporal lobe (left side of image), corresponding to the abnormality seen in the temporal lobe on MRI. The findings are most consistent with an active tumor with central necrosis.
