Colon Cancer

Patient History

36 year old male with history of recurrent colorectal cancer, status post extensive surgery.

Study Findings

Findings were highly suspicous for multiple malignant neoplasms involving the liver (SUV = 2.9), right mid and left lower posterior ribs (SUV = 1.5, 2.4), and the sacrum with extension into the peri-sacral soft tissue. The relatively low FDG uptake (i.e., maximum SUV = 1.0) in the right upper lobe and left lower lobe of the lung was believed to be of benign origin.
