Patient History:
52 year old male with squamous cell carcinoma of the larynx.
Technique:
Patient received 10.54mCi F-18 FDG. The study was performed with the patient in a fasting state. After an uptake time of 90 minutes, PET imaging was performed from the base of the brain to the level of the mid thigh. A CT with IV contrast was also performed.
Findings:
Multiple areas of hypermetabolic activity were found.
