Patient history:
60 year old male with lung cancer.
Technique:
Patient received 10.12 mCi F-18 FDG. The study was performed with the patient in a fasting state. Following administration of 550cc of dilute oral contrast and after an uptake time of 90 minutes, PET imaging was performed from the base of the brain to the level of the mid thigh.
Findings:
Within the thorax there is a large hypermetabolic mass in the right lung.
