Lymphoma

Patient History:

 25 year-old male with primary mediastinal B-cell lymphoma

 

Technique:

The study was performed with the patient in a fasting state. Following administration of 750cc of dilute oral contrast and after an uptake time of 90 minutes, PET imaging was performed from the base of the brain to the level of the mid thigh. 

Findings:

Mild focus of FDG uptake is seen in the periphery of the left lung, otherwise normal FDG uptake is seen in brain, heart, kidneys, and gut.

Impression:

No evidence of recurrent/residual disease. Marked improvement since the prior PET study.
